Stanley Partnerships sales representatives standing together before a shift in Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City, Utah

Brands, in person.

We put trained representatives in front of real shoppers on wholesale retail floors across the Salt Lake Valley — and we hire the people who do it.

A sales floor is still the shortest distance to a decision.

Stanley Partnerships is a direct sales firm based in Murray, Utah, working across the Salt Lake City market. We represent a single client in water distribution and filtration, and we do it the way that still works best for a considered household purchase — a trained person, on the retail floor, having an actual conversation.

Advertising can introduce a product. It rarely finishes the job. Someone weighing up a filtration system wants to ask what it costs to run, whether it fits their kitchen, and what happens if something goes wrong. Those are questions for a person, not a banner.

So the firm is built around people: recruiting them, training them properly, and putting them somewhere they can be useful. That is as true of our client work as it is of our hiring.

What we do

Three services, one discipline — putting a brand in front of the people who will actually buy it, and reporting honestly on what happened.

In-store brand representation

We place trained representatives inside wholesale retail locations, where the shopper is already thinking about the category. They demonstrate the product, answer the awkward questions, and give the brand a face rather than a shelf position.

  • Uniformed, brand-trained representatives
  • Staffed schedules built around retail footfall
  • Consistent presentation from one location to the next

Outsourced sales teams

Building an in-house field team means recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling and managing turnover. We already do all of that. A brand gains retail coverage in the Salt Lake City market without adding a department to its own payroll.

  • Recruiting and screening handled end to end
  • Product and compliance training before anyone represents you
  • Day-to-day management, coaching and coverage

Territory management and reporting

Which locations perform, which days are worth staffing, where the conversations stall. We track results by store and report them plainly — including the weeks that did not go well, because those are the ones worth acting on.

  • Location-level scheduling across the valley
  • Daily result tracking, store by store
  • Straight reporting, no dressing up a slow week

The client: water distribution and filtration

A household product people are genuinely curious about, sold in the one place they are already comparing options.

We represent a water distribution and filtration brand inside wholesale retailers. It is a good fit for face-to-face selling: the product is easy to demonstrate, the questions are practical, and most shoppers have never had anyone explain the difference between one system and another.

Our representatives are trained on the product itself — what it filters, what it costs to maintain, how installation works and who it is genuinely right for. That last part matters. A representative who steers someone away from a product that will not suit their home does more for the brand than one who closes every conversation.

04

Entry level, not entry effort

Most of our openings are entry level sales roles in Salt Lake City. No experience required — we would rather train someone properly than inherit someone else's habits.

Who tends to do well here

People who show up, who do not mind being told how to improve, and who can hold a conversation with a stranger without reading from a script. That is most of it.

  • Reliable and on time — retail schedules depend on it
  • Comfortable talking to people face to face
  • Coachable, and willing to practise before performing
  • Legally able to work in the United States and 18 or over

01

Training that is actually training

Product knowledge, compliance and presentation before you represent anyone. You will practise the conversation with a manager long before you have it with a shopper.

02

Promotion from within

Team leads and managers come from the field. The path from representative to running your own team is the ordinary route here, not the exception.

03

Skills that transfer

Handling objections, reading a room, managing your own numbers. Whether you stay in sales or not, these are the things you will keep.

Where we work

One market, covered properly. We staff retail locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley from our office in Murray.

Salt Lake City is our home market and the centre of the territory. Campaigns run out of the Murray office and reach retail locations north to the city, south through the valley, and east and west across the suburbs.

Being deliberately local is the point. A team that knows which store is busy on a Saturday morning, and which one is quiet until four, schedules better than one working from a spreadsheet three states away.

Communities we staff include Salt Lake City, Murray, Sandy, West Valley City, West Jordan, South Jordan, Draper, Taylorsville, Midvale, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights and Bountiful.
